What F.H.G Has Taught Me: My Journey as a Freelancer in Nigeria

FHG freelancer

Growing up in Nigeria, I often felt the weight of my family's expectations. Coming from a humble background where vocational skills were prized, I worked tirelessly to complete my National Diploma, hoping to turn my skills into a reliable source of income. Yet, as I stepped into the world of employment, I quickly realized that perfection is often the gold standard in human resources and job markets.

However, my perspective shifted when I discovered the principles of F.H.G. and their approach to freelancing. They helped alleviate some of my fears, showing me that I could earn a living while simultaneously honing my craft. This newfound confidence has been a game changer for me.

Over the past few months, I have ventured into various digital landscapes, exploring everything from graphic design to marketing and chatbot creation. Along the way, I found my passion in design. The creative process resonates with me more than chasing high expectations; I thrive on constructive feedback and encouragement rather than pressure.

Freelancing has not only allowed me to develop my skills but also enabled me to contribute positively to my country. By embracing the digital space, I've been able to share Nigeria's rich culture and creativity with a global audience.

Yet, the journey hasn't been without its challenges. In the realm of e-commerce, one of the toughest hurdles has been meeting buyers' expectations. Each project teaches me something new about marketing and customer satisfaction, and I aspire to achieve a 90% assurance level in my e-commerce endeavors.

In conclusion, my journey as a freelancer in Nigeria has been transformative. With the support of F.H.G and the lessons I've learned along the way, I am excited about the future. I am committed to perfecting my craft and making a meaningful impact, both for myself and for my community.
